The Rutgers Writing Program maintains a high standard for student achievement, which contributes to the value of your degree. The Plangere Writing Center provides the support some students need to meet those standards and to succeed in their writing courses.

Writing is as much about skill as it is knowledge, and it takes a commitment on your part to improve that skill through guided practice over time. That is why our program requires students to commit to several sessions in our center. We do not offer quick fixes and students should not expect our tutors to edit their papers. What you will receive is peer support and mentoring to help you meet your goals and improve your writing habits both for college and for your future career.
